A Call from Basilan To Appoint Gilberto Teodoro In Office
On Friday, March 19, 2010, I came across this site conducting this another online poll about if are you going to vote for G1bo Teodoro? Well, not the first of its kind, but most interesting part are the comments on this page, some are criticizing Teodoro but most of them are wanting him to be appointed in office. I was scrolling down the page until one post captured my attention, in verbatim the post was:

I really admire intelligent people though our country was devastated by these “intelligents-trapos,” let us try new breed once again. When I saw GIBO on the recent presidential forum, I felt his sicerity and desire to lead by example. Please don’t fail us. We, from Basilan, know you can make it. We do not expect urgent change, what we want is constant change for the good of our island province."
Why G1bo left NPC and did not follow Danding Cojuangco?
Yes, I will vote for Gibo, and I don’t think he will be GMA’s puppet. Actually, I heard the reason he left Danding Cojuangco’s political party was because Danding was imposing decisions on him, which Gibo did not want. He was Danding’s favorite, the easy road would have been to just follow Danding and get Danding’s support in return, yet Gibo took the hard road. If he was able to part ways with his uncle due to his principles, I believe he can defy GMA as well if necessary…

This analysis speaks of the close-mindedness of some of Sec. Teodoro’s critics.
The argument is called “NON-SEQUITUR” (It does not follow)

Basic Premise why Sec. Teodoro should never distance herself from PGMA:
It is the height of ingratitude to leave the President who gave you the biggest break in your early political life. It is true that PGMA's administration has been accused of so many charges, but that does not mean that accusations should be ENOUGH basis for you to leave someone who doesn't interfere in the reforms you may have done in your department.
Loyalty is stemmed from the virtues of mutual respect, trust and satisfaction, and I think PGMA has allowed Sec. Teodoro to be independent in his dealings with the AFP and the DND. PGMA has not interfered in the way Sec. Teodoro administered his 3 year occupancy in his respective departments, so Sec. Teodoro has no ground to leave PGMA based on that premise.

1.) He is not a true lawyer by profession. Sec. Teodoro, by basic rule of law, believes in the viability of a case based on FORM and SUBSTANCE. If trial by publicity will take place because of his impending resignation, we might as well throw away the judiciary institutions of government.
2.) His reform agenda in the AFP would have discontinued, thus everything will be back to scratch, as compared to the current situation where Sec. Teodoro has set the stage for the AFP Modernization Program and improvement in our Defense Department in the long run.

Basic Premise why Sec. Teodoro should not be part of the IMAGE of the Administration:
We must have the capacity to look at our candidates as individuals, and not merely by associations. If we were to look at associations as basis for electing our officials, no one will be deserving of our vote since almost all of our politicians, in a way or another, are involved with politicians who have been accused of graft and corruption charges.
In 2007, there was this rumor linking Angelica and Derek to a s-x video leaked online. People looked for it but no video came out.And now, the tabloid Pinoy Parazzi has exposed a beach photo of the hot couple two days ago which according to the tabloid has been sold to them two years ago.
As seen in the Pinoy Parazzi photo below, Angelica is shown grabbing Derek's private parts. It's not actually a simple "grabbing" because Angel's right hand finds comfort inside Derek's branded underwear. Whew!
Angelica is yet to comment on the picture but boyfriend Derek broke his silence at Darla Sauler's blog and he told the blog that he sees nothing wrong with the picture: "I don't see anything wrong with the photo! It's our own private photo with friends! We are having clean fun!!!! What's wrong is whoever exposed the pic!"

Let me break it down for you.
There's quite a number of things to consider. Let us enumerate (take note that this is without any intent of negative campaigning against anyone, particularly Sen. Aquino):
1.) AS A PERSON:
Then came in Teodoro.

I admit, I was almost swept with the Noynoy Aquino bandwagon out of desperation and lack of choices back in October last year. There was only Sen. Manny Villar, Joseph Estrada, and I think Bro. Eddie Villanueva. Out of the question, Noynoy was the only respectable choice. Noynoy was the "lesser evil", as Mr. Conrado de Quiros of Inquirer would tell you. With Noynoyin Malacañan, the Filipino people can sleep soundly, knowing that the person occupying the presidency is not hatching some new scheme with close relatives and cronies to capture some fat government contract or corner some lucrative part of the nation’s business.
Then came in Teodoro.
Like his second cousin Noynoy Aquino, the candidate of Lakas-Kampi-CMD, Gibo Teodoro was brought up properly — in an environment of honesty and righteousness — and appears incapable of dark thoughts about the moneymaking possibilities of the presidency.
Gibo’s father, Gilberto Teodoro Sr., was said to be a paragon of honesty during his 20-year stewardship of the Social Security System (Marcos regime). As the old saying goes, fruit cannot fall very far from the tree.
SCORE: Gibo: 0, Noynoy: 1
2.) TRACK RECORD:
Gibo in his 9 years as Congressman of Tarlac, filed more than 500 bills and passed into law 6. Sen. Aquino in his 3 terms as representative and 3 years in Senate passed into law, 0 bills (only 8 filed). No contest.

Kung Sec. of Defense ka, mahibal-an nimo ang mga problema gikan sa Aparri ngadto sa Jolo. Dili lang seguridad sa nasud batok sa langyaw o gera, kun dili seguridad sa pagkaon, sa environment, sa kalamidad. Kay siya man ang chairman sa NDCC nakasulay siya unsaon pagkoordinar o pagpatakdo sa lain-laing departamento sa gobyerno, sama sa DSWD, AFP, Health, Public Works. Ug wala gyuy makaingon sa pagbuhat niya niini nga siya nagpasigarbo o nag "grandstanding".
Makatuohan ang Plataporma, tininuod, makab-ot ra:
EDUKASYON: Usa ka college graduate kada pamilya. Pinaagi sa student loan nga mabayran ra unya sa SSS deduction inig makatrabaho na. Ang ibayad unta sa ginikanan para sa college niya magamit na sa sunod nga bata.
AGRIKULTURA: Ipalambo ang agrikultura, i-pamag-o ang pag-uma para daghan ug barato nga pagkaon, ug mahibalik ang pag-uma sa pagkamadungganon nga propesyon...
SMALL BUSINESS: Magtakda ug mga programa para gahinan o mahatagan ug puhunan ang mga gagmay nga negosyante. .
PEACE AND ORDER: Padaghanon ang armed forces ug pulis para mabara ang krimen ug giyera.
GOOD GOVERNMENT: Silotan ang nasayop, premyohan ang matarong.
KASANIHAN (HEALTH CARE): Universal participatory health care -- ipadaghan ang mo-apil ug mo-amot sa Philhealth para mas daghan ang matabangan.
ENVIRONMENT: Magmugna ug ipatuman ang mga balaod para sa hustong pagpwesto sa mga puloy-anan para dili madali ug kaamo ang katawhan sa mga kalamidad. Gibo Topping Mock Polls and Impressing The Masses
THERE is no doubt that Gilbert “Gibo” Teodoro of Lakas-Kampi-CMD has changed the way masses perceived how, what, who and the things that he is capable of doing. Notably, he is the youth’s choice for the next President topping most mock polls conducted on every university all across the Philippines after his chance of delivering his platforms of his candidacy.
Lakas-Kampi-CMD president and governor of Sarangani Migz Dominguez said this is because the youth consider Teodoro as their role model. “To the youth, Gibo is tops in intelligence, leadership excellence and quality and vision for our people,” Dominguez said.
Here are the list of NOTABLE things that happened the past few weeks:
1.) Topping Mock Poll in ANGELES CITY -- Lakas-Kampi-CMD presidential bet Gilbert Teodoro won a surprising but decisive victory in a survey conducted at Holy Angel University (HAU), the biggest private school in Central Luzon.
Of the 3,688 college students and employees surveyed, 1,432 said they would vote for Teodoro, although only 205 would vote for his running mate, actor Edu Manzano. Mar Roxas of the Liberal Party (LP) topped the survey for vice president with 2,349 votes.
2.) Topping Mock Poll in Ateneo University --Gilbert “Gibo” Teodoro beat survey frontrunner Noynoy Aquino in Blue Vote, the mock elections for Ateneans conducted by the Sanggunian and Ateneo Commission on Elections. Teodoro received 598 votes while Aquino received 589.
3.) Businessmen ‘very impressed’ with Teodoro.
MANILA, Philippines-Businessmen said they were “very impressed” with administration candidate Gilbert Teodoro, but pointed out that his ties to President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo has remained a liability to his presidential bid.
“They were very impressed,” said Alberto Lim, MBC president, when asked how the members viewed Teodoro.
4.) Teodoro impresses Makati Business Club, tops mock poll.
Officials of the Makati Business Club (MBC) claimed Thursday that Lakas Kampi CMD standard bearer Gilberto “Gibo” Teodoro Jr., who they have admired for his impressive credentials and untainted record in public service, could have been in the forefront of the presidential race for the May 10 elections if not for his association with President Arroyo.
“He’s (Gibo) a very impressive person, he has impressive credentials but it’s a pity that he is associated with somebody who, to our minds, is not particularly an impressive leader (Mrs. Arroyo),” Ramon del Rosario, MBC chairman, said in an interview.
5.) Topping Mock Poll in UP Mindanao.
This developed as another campus in Mindanao has gone green for Teodoro after he topped another mock election at the Mindanao campus of the University of the Philippines. Thirty-three percent of those who voted in the UP Mindanao mock election picked Teodoro, 45, and the 1989 Bar topnotcher, as the most competent and most qualified among the presidential candidates in the May 10 elections.
